[grin] Khaji Da's Reach technology, but I'm human, and we've both pretty thoroughly renounced Reach citizenship. With extreme prejudice. Don't worry about it, though. We know what you mean.

Khaji Da's purpose is similar to 'Yeerks.' Khaji Da is Jaime Reyes' friend. Khaji Da will not take over Jaime Reyes' free will and motor functions without consent.

No offense, dude, but... that's pretty messed up.

[It also sets a dangerous precedent David's entirely not comfortable with. Before now, he'd just assumed that Barge denizens were human, or at the least humanoid. If a parasite like this Khaji Da got in, though, that theoretically means a Yeerk could do. There could be Controllers on the Barge.
